Still Waiting

I'm not so patiently awaiting this baby's arrival. I didn't really think I'd go over my due date, but here we are at 40 weeks and 4 days. It's been pretty hard to wait, especially since my leave at work began yesterday, and each day that she isn't here means less time with her before going back to work.
It's been snowing quite a bit lately (it's snowing right now too) and the trees look pretty all covered up in snow.

A throw back to warmer days.

Ready

I'm ready for the baby to be here now. I'm getting pretty uncomfortable.. :) Tomorrow, it'll be 11 days until her due date.
We have a few things set up for her now. She's going to sleep in our room for a little while, so we have this set up in our room.
Her room is getting there.. ish. I know it's blue, but I didn't get around to painting it. I don't think she'll care for awhile.

Anyway, We've been moving buildings at work, so it's been kind of hectic. One thing that I noticed the other night was this little room in the bathroom. I thought I'd have to go to my car, so this will make life a little easier when I go back!

Getting Closer

A little less that 5 weeks to go. I'm starting to feel panicky because I don't feel prepared for the baby's arrival. Her room isn't set up and I haven't packed the hospital bag or preregistered at the hospital, etc... :) It'll be ok. At least I've turned in all the paper work at my work. Anyway, here's the 35 week picture.
The same lady who called me "big" a couple of weeks ago stopped by again on Friday to reiterate how big she thinks I am. "Are you sure there aren't two in there?" "Do you think that you can get ANY bigger?" Then she said that my baby was probably going to be huge. Thanks... Not much other news here, just trying to prep between work and naps. :)

Baby Shower

Yesterday, I was thrown a baby shower by Kiera, Angela, and Tara. It was fun! Thanks to Tara for opening up her house for everyone. What an angel. I'm quite blessed to have so many great people in my life! And, my mom is going to spoil me further by hosting another shower at home at Thanksgiving.
I didn't take many pictures as usual...
Annette, Sharon, and Clara hanging out.
Mother dearest cleaned up for us.
Crystal hand made these jackets (as well as quite a few other clothing items). I'm incredibly impressed with her skills.

And here is the 33 week baby bump picture.

The time has come for me to get rid of my faithful car of almost 11 years. It's kind of sad! Who would of thought you could get so attached to a car. But, a two door coupe isn't very practical when considering getting a baby in and out of the car multiple times per day. So, on to the four door car. If only old faithful were a four door... :)

Randomness

There hasn't been a lot of new stuff going on these days. Autumn is in the air, and I love it! The leaves on vines in our back yard are turning pretty colors.

Here's the most recent belly photo. I feel like I can't expand anymore, but I've been assured that I will. :)

And, I found a few old random photos that made me smile.

At the Parent's

I went out to my parent's house this past weekend for the feast of Sukkot. Good times were had and there was food o'plenty. I love going home.

Tara is such a poser!
Tara showing her photography skills and her shadow.
Feasting, friends, and family. What more could you ask for?
 This is Cary's joyful face.
Maybe he should learn from his dancing daughter how to be joyful. ;)

Sharon graciously did a maternity photo shoot for me. Here are a few samples.

She always does an awesome job! I wasn't going to do a pregnancy photo shoot, but Tara convinced me to do it. I'm glad I did. The pictures will be fun to look back on when the baby is here. Thank you, Sharon!

Weekend Outings

Lola likes to go sit out in the sun on the sidewalk, even when it's really hot outside. This day she had a couple of disgusting drool fangs (she usually doesn't drool much).

She's pretty spoiled. Noah says she deserves it because she'll only be here for 14ish years total. Right...

Yesterday, we drove to Heber to take Audree to ride in one of her rodeo's. The leaves are starting to change and it's pretty beautiful through the canyon and around that whole area.

They had a hot air balloon festival last weekend and there were still quite a few this weekend.

We were next to a railroad with a bunch of old steel.

Noah was getting pretty excited looking at all of it. :)

Audree riding her horse.

Today, Kiera, Angela, Tara, Olivia, Jordynne, Audree and I went out to brunch and to get pedicures. Then we went to some stores to register for lots of baby products. I don't have any pictures, but it was lovely. It felt nice to have my swollen ankles and feet pampered. Thank you!

I had the glucose test last week and passed. No gestational diabetes.

Baby Girl

So, I suck at blogging. :)

This is the most recent picture that I've taken of the growing bump. It's a little blurry. I feel large, and I still have 13 weeks to go. Oh boy.

I had a follow up ultrasound last Wednesday because they wanted to track something in the baby's kidneys (fluid buildup). But the specialist said he wasn't concerned about it at all, so that's good. He sounded like he didn't even understand why they referred me for a follow up. She's weighing in at 2 lbs 4 oz right now and she's moving around like crazy. Here are some pictures of her. Noah said she looks like an alien. :)

Hi there.

I've decided to try to blogging to keep friends and family up to date on our growing family, if you're interested. I haven't been very successful with blogs in the past, so we'll see how it goes.

I had another prenatal appointment today. I was HOPING so much to find out the sex of the baby, but we will have to wait a while longer. I heard the heart beat and everything looks good so far.

I've still been a little tired, but I've been feeling good. No morning sickness or any of that stuff, so I'm thankful for that.
