So Big

Sienna thinks she's so big. 😁

Tina took Sienna into the play room during church. This is how I found them a while later.

As I mentioned, Noah and I have been trying a diet out. I've been cooking a lot more, which is kind of fun! I made pretzels last night. The hardest part is that they don't have regular flour, but they turned out to be quite delicious. 🍴

Random updates for ya. 🙃

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has come and gone. It's one of my favorite holidays. We went out to my parent's house on Wednesday night and spent a couple of days celebrating the holiday with family. We had a nice dinner on Thursday with all the delicious food. Noah and I managed not to really cheat on our way of eating and I made us a separate dessert that evening.

Sienna wasn't sleeping well at all last week, then we discovered a molar coming in. It all made sense after that. 😕

The low carb high fat pumpkin cake that I made. It was actually pretty delicious! 👌🏻

Haha! Sienna was making funny faces while dad was trying to keep her warm.

Grandma and Sienna got in some good snuggles. ❤️

We had a family get together in Friday at my aunt's house. Great company and games made for a good time!

She was clinging to me as per usual.

Now back to the daily grind.

Eyelashes

I love that she has these long beautiful eye lashes! 🤓

Sienna was crawling and her hand slipped, so she face planted on the floor. I said "uh oh" calmly because I was watching her from behind. Then I picked her up and saw all the blood. Yikes. She cut her top gums between the two front teeth somehow. It bled for a while, and she had blood dripping out everywhere. Oops.

She is now going from the floor to standing up by herself now, and she even took a few steps this morning. She'll be walking in no time.

And, she has been eating more these days. That is, more big people food. I've had to try to get creative with things to send to daycare with her, as we are not feeding her the traditional baby food. I made these muffins with no recipe, and I was kind of impressed with myself because they taste pretty good! They may not look the prettiest, but don't judge a book by it's cover. 😜 The last ones I made weren't very good (even with a recipe), though Sienna was nice and still ate some.

In other news, I finally upgraded my phone! I've had my iPhone 4 for about six years. It deleted some of my reminders randomly and I missed something, so that was the final straw. I didn't go to the newest, but it's a great iPhone 6. Yay!

That's all I've got. I'm super excited for Thanksgiving next week! Although Noah and I have changed our eating to limit carbs and sugar. Can that day be a cheat day?! 🍰🍨

Slacker

So... I've been neglecting this blog. :) Oops. Days just pass by too quickly and time escapes. Since the last update, Noah turned 32, we went out to my parent's a couple of times, and Noah's dad came for a visit (that was last week). Those are the some highlights anyway. :)

Sienna is now over 10 months old. Her 8th tooth just broke through and she is beginning to stand on her own. She's going through a phase where she wants me to hold her all the time and doesn't want many other people to touch her.

She moves too much these days to get great pictures. But, I had to get one with the tutu!

Here's a group shot of us last week.
Rick brought a lot of pictures with him. Sorry this one is sideways, but look at that spiked mullet! Bahahahaha!

First Flight

We got back from California today after going to Cindy's wedding on Saturday. The wedding was beautiful, and I didn't get any pictures of course. :)

Sienna was wonderful on the trip and flight. She's been such a good baby for us. I'm glad Tara was with me to help carry all the stuff we had. Flying with a baby is a whole new game!

Wings for her first flight!

End of Summer

I can't believe how quickly time is flying. My mom always told me in high school that time would start flying by faster and faster as I got older and that high school would soon be only a blip in time. Now I get what she was talking about. :)

Anyway, we had a little family bbq up in Millcreek Canyon on Labor Day weekend, so that was fun. I stole this picture from Kiera.

Then on Sunday, we took a quick trip out to my parent's for Cindy's bridal shower.

Sienna was trying to figure out this 42 year old walker.

She's slowly starting to figure out this whole eating thing. She really enjoyed gnawing on this zucchini.

This coming weekend, we're headed to Los Angeles for Cindy's wedding. Let's hope we have a good flight!

Baby's First Camping Trip

Some of Noah's off-roading friends invited us up to their cabin in Logan canyon, so we went there last night and spent the night in the roof top tent. Noah has been talking about taking Sienna camping, so I figured this one would be a good start, since it wasn't too far off the grid.
She seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. She woke up smiling and liked looking at the tree shadows in the tent.
My camera isn't great on my phone, so they're kind of blurry. But, it's all I've got. :)
Sienna is working on crawling. She hasn't quite figured it out yet, but she's getting closer.
Tara bought her this cute tutu!

It's hard to get a non blurry picture of this baby because she's moving so much these days.
Cutie pie.

Summer days

I've been terrible at remembering to take pictures these days, as per usual. :) Summer is flying by. June 23rd was our anniversary, and we didn't do anything! Old married folks... Eventually we're going to go out to dinner in celebration. Haha! Noah did get me a carpet shampooer, which is awesome.

Then there was the fourth of July, which I didn't document with pictures again. We went out to my parent's house and celebrated with the family. Food, fireworks, and family. Always a good time. Noah and Josh took the littles out on a shooting adventure. (I stole these pictures from Kiera).
We always spend a good amount of time on the porch swings.
Audree and Sienna

We've been slowly starting to give Sienna solid foods. She chowed down on some avocado and bread the other night. I know she actually swallowed some too because of the flaxseed in her poop. TMI?

She's getting to where she doesn't like to lay down very much. So this is how she plays with her play mat now. :)

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to this guy!

We went to a little butterfly release this afternoon at a plant nursery.
She looked so cute in her hat! :)
They're hard to see, but the butterflies all went and landed on the plants.

Big girl!

Almost 6 months

I keep thinking that I'm going to take more pictures and be better about blogging, but alas...
I do have a few pictures of Sienna though. She's coming up on her 6 month mark on the 26th. Crazy! She has two teeth and is working on sitting up by herself.
She's checking Mini out. :)
Chilling in the stroller. She likes her stroller a lot more than her car seat!
But, she doesn't mind her car seat occasionally.

Maybe I'll remember to take more pictures eventually!
